Part of the LeMay Family Collection on the southeast side of Tacoma and something of a mystery: the builder's plate indicates S/N 15246 (Apr 42), ex-Port of Astoria (OR)/GSA No. 2/US Army 7047 Casad Ord Depot, but another web ref states its actually S/N 13139 (Jul 41), ex-US Army 7356/Alaska 7356/Chelatchie Prairie/Rabanco-Seattle; for the time being, I've parked it in the USAX category pending further ID. This one's a puzzlement... |
